doorway page
Doorway pages are web pages that are created for spamdexing, this is, for spamming the index of a search engine by inserting results for particular phrases with the purpose of sending visitors to a different page. They are also known as bridge pages, portal pages, jump pages, gateway pages, entry pages and by other names. Doorway pages that redirect visitors without their knowledge use some form of cloaking.

double opt-in
Double opt-in is a method of ensuring not only that a person has actually opted-in to receive email but that the address the recipient has given is a real address.  This is called double opt-in because it consists of two steps.
Step 1: The person enters his or her email address into a form and clicks submit
Step 2: An auto-responder message is sent to the given email address.  In the email the person is asked to confirm that they did indeed sign up for whatever subscription or service requested.  The person clicks a link in the email confirming this. Now they are added to the double opt-in list.

duplicate content
The content of a website is its value.  Content is what it has to offer the visitor.  Whether that content is in the form of educational data, product information, tools such as calorie counters or weight calculators, restaurant menus, or information about local services it is content the user is looking for.  It is also fresh, informative and useful content that the search engines want to display as a result of a visitor's search.

Duplicate content is information on a website that has been copied from another page on the web.  Basically it is the same text displayed on two different websites or on two (or more) pages of the same website.  The question is how much duplication of text creates "duplicate content". Changes one or two words in the document is not enough.  As a general rule, if you must have content significantly similar to another website or to other pages within your site keep the exact duplication to below 70%.  If you are optimizing the page for a specific term ensure the two words before and after the term are different from any other web content you're aware of.

Here is a quote from Google regarding duplicate content:  "Most search engines strive for a certain level of variety; they want to show you ten different results on a search results page, not ten different URLs that all have the same content. To this end, Google tries to filter out duplicate documents so that users experience less redundancy."

A great website for checking your content is original (and also that it has not been taken by others) is:
