browse
To look over something casually and leisurely.  When a person is searching for information or products on the web they are said to be browsing.  This concept is important to keep in mind when designing a web site.  The layout of a page should be designed for browsing as opposed to reading.  A person reads a web site more like you would browse a magazine than like you would read a book.

bulk email

Bulk email is essentially sending the same email message to more than just a few people at one time.  There are two major types of bulk email, solicited and unsolicited.  Unsolicited bulk email is known as spam. Examples of spam include the emails we have all received about great deals on knock-off watches, cheap prescription drugs or our multi-million dollar inheritances from unknown royalty in Nigeria.  An example of solicited bulk email is a newsletter sent to subscribers.  These subscribers will have expressed an interest in receiving this information.
