  Alexa    
Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Northern California Alexa collects and provides all sorts of fascinating data about websites and web traffic.  You can download a toolbar from Alexa which shows information about the site your are visiting such as the age of the site, how many pages it has and how often it is updated . Alt Image Tag    
This is the HTML code that is used to define "alternate text" for those visitors who have text-only browsers.  Obviously this is not currently much of a situation on the web now that data transfer speed is so much faster than it was years ago.  However the important reason to use this tag is that search engine crawlers cannot "see" and categorize images.  These spiders are simple programs and need know what your site is about by reading text.

Anchor text is the visible, clickable text in a link that takes you to another page or web site.  The words used in the Anchor text are important to search engine optimization and ranking.
